Update: Funeral Arrangements for Paramedic William Mallock

Visitation will take place Tuesday, August 19, 2014 from 2-4pm and 6-9pm at Seal Cove Baptist Church on Grand Manan, NB.

Funeral will take place on Wednesday August 20, 2104 at the Community Centre starting at 1:30pm followed by an open reception. A private graveside ceremony will follow.

It is encouraged that paramedics should attend in uniform or dress uniform with a black ribbon in place.

It is recommended that you obtain a reservation for the ferry from Blacks Harbour at 9:30am.

Please respect a scent free environment and artificial flowers only.

It is with heavy hearts that all paramedics mourn the loss of Paramedic William Mallock, a 20 year veteran paramedic of Ambulance New Brunswick (ANB) as well as a veteran pilot, Klaus Sonnenberg. The other pilot and a nurse on board survived the crash.

Ambulance New Brunswick and Global News has reported the crash happened at 5am, Aug. 16, 2014 at Grand Manan Airport after dropping off a patient at Saint John Regional Hospital.

On behalf of the Peel Paramedic Benevolent Fund we would like to extend our sincere condolences to the family, friends, co-workers at Ambulance New Brunswick of William “Bill” Mallock on their tragic loss today. William Mallock died serving his community and his friends.
