Enrollment in the fund is offered to all part time and full time employees or associate members of Region of Peel Paramedic Services.
$2 per pay is automatically deducted by payroll and contributed to the fund. No personal or banking information is collected. Payouts are made based on the bylaws; made to a member or members family after a qualifying event to be used to pay for expenses related to a death, catastrophic illness or injury.
The fund is designed to support members quickly following an event, negating the need for grassroot fundraising efforts immediately following or during a serious event.
